Amira Dems

Amira DEMS holds a Ph.D in industrial engineering from Polytechnique Montreal. Her main research expertise lies in the areas of data driven supply chain management and logistics. She is particularly interested in the development of efficient mathematical optimization and Operations Research techniques to solve real-world problems arising in integrated supply chain systems, E-commerce and retailing. Her expertise covers several methodologies such as stochastic programming, constraint programming, heuristics and the use of data analytics in supply chain. She is currently working on integrating inventory management in network design planning problem under uncertainty.
