Ilitea Kina
Ilitea is a master’s student in applied mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Louis-Martin Rousseau and Prof. Nadia Lahrichi. After completing a doctorate in medicine at the University of Sherbrooke and a residency in family medicine and advanced skills in emergency medicine at the University of Montreal, she is interested in the problems of overcrowding in Quebec emergency rooms. Her project focuses on the real-time prediction of overcrowding in the emergency room and the different delays in patient management that lead to this overcrowding.
