Augustin is a PhD student in applied mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Louis-Martin Rousseau and Prof. Quentin Cappart. After completing engineering studies in France specializing in mathematics and computer science, he arrived in Montreal to further study deep learning and combinatorial optimization. His project focuses on the use of reinforcement learning for mathematical optimization, notably applied to decision diagrams and vehicle routing for healthcare.
