Jaime Esteban Gonzalez Jurado
Jaime E. Gonzalez

Jaime is a PhD candidate in applied mathematics (specialization in operations research) at École Polytechnique de Montréal and also a doctoral researcher at CIRRELT. His research interests focus on developing exact hybrid methods for large-scale optimization. These methods are based on classical operations research, constraint programming and particularly decision diagrams. As part of his doctoral studies, he works specifically on scheduling problems. Additionally, he is interested in the application of machine learning approaches on such hybrid algorithms in order to determine the best instance-specific strategies for solving large-size problems.
